It is not  recommended that you have the lower back and around the hips massaged in the first trimester but all other areas are fine. However we do not have a preganancy couch and when you get to a certain stage in your pregnancy it will be very difficult to lie comfortably on you front therefore we would not be able to massage the back.  

Yes this is normal and is called Erythema.  It is due to dilated blood vessels and takes up to 24 hours to go down. In some cases it may take more than 24 hours.

Yes you must tell us. There are many reasons for this, a few being that some of our products may clash with your medication or we may not be able to do your treatment safely in certain circumstances.

You need to have a patch test for these products as they are used in a very sensitive area and if you have a reaction to them it could be very serious.

We have different strengths of DHA which means results will vary according to your skin type and natural colour. The darker your skin tans naturally the darker you will tan with a spray tan.

Spray tanning invloves applying an active ingredient, DHA, to the skin using a specialist spray tanning machine. DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is an ingredient derived from sugar cane which reacts with the amino acids in the skin to create the darkening reaction/ tan.
Erythrulose is an natural keto-sugar which reacts with primary or secondary amino acid groups to form the polymer, Melanoidin. Erythrulose in combination with DHA may produce a deep uniform and natural skin tan without undisired streaks.
During your spray tan you will be sprayed with a solution containing the above ingredients and also a colour guide. The bronzer in our solution will start to activate approximately 2 hours after application. Full results will develop over the next ten hours. The colour guide will then wash off in the shower leaving you with a natural tan. Your therapist will advise you how long you will need to wait before showering.

Depending on your daily skincare regime and lifestyle anywhere between 7-10 days. Your tan will fade just as just as a tan from the sun does. It is your choice if you want to be naked. If you would prefer not to be we would suggest you wear old dark underwear or a swimsuit or bikini that you dont mind staining. For men boxers or swimtrunks/ shorts would be suitable.

YES completely. You can still have a great tanned look but without exposing your skin to the sun's harmful rays. DHA has been approved for use within the beauty industryf or the past 30 years.  No adverse reactions have been reported other than minor skin irritations on people with sensitive skin. Allergic reasctions are very uncommon but we would recommend a patch test take place 24 hours before you have a tan if you feel you have sensitive skin. There is no risk of sunburn or sun related skin diseases with sunless tanning.

For best results remove dead skin cells by using SUNLESS SOLUTIONS LOVE 2 SCRUB exfoliating wash at least 8 hours before your treatment. This will give you a longer lasting tan. All shaving and waxing  should be done a minimum of 24 hours before. No make-up, moisturizer or deodorants should be applied to your skin before treatment as these will act as a barrier against the solution.

Spray tanning by a trained therapist is the only tan that can deliver a flawless streak free finish. Tanning booths mean you have to contort your body within the booth to cover each area. One wrong move can mean a double application or no spray at all! There is no control over where the solution ends up and how your tan will look. 
Hand applications often results in streaky coverage. If its you that is doing the application, it can be very difficult to get the product applied evenly to where you want it, especially where your hands cant reach like your back. You are unable to see where you have already put the product and you will probably end up with stained hands.
Spray tanning with a good quality solution and undertaken by a qualified therapist gives precision to your tan and ensures a smooth and even finish. Special attention can be given to problem areas such as knees, elbows, blemishes and hair.

Your therapist will ask you to complete a tanning consultation card and ask you a few questions. You will be asked to remove your clothes and stand in a tanning cubicle. A barrier cream will then be applied carefully to the palms of your hands. This is to prevent the solution clinging to this area. The application of the tan will take approximately 15 minutes. Your qualified therapist will talk you through each stage of the treatment and explain which way to stand for maximum coverage. During your treatment a golden colour will develop on your skin. This is a colour guide for your therapist to see whilst spraying. It will develop over the next few hours into a beautiful natural tan. The colour guide will wash off in your first shower- don't panic!

Loose fitting dark clothes are most suitable and we would suggest you bring some flip flops to wear home as enclosed shoes can make your feet perspire which can affect the final results of your tan. Any colour that may rub off on your clothes can usually be removed on a normal wash cycle.

 Spray tanning is not recommended for:

Women in their first trimester
Anyone allergic to self tan
People with breathing difficulties
